Community Care Day is Portland Public Schools’ annual event where volunteers in local communities come together to clean and clear school grounds before the start of the school year. Portland Public Schools is very excited to be partnering with Hands On Greater Portland to coordinate this important event.

Our annual Beverly Cleary School kindergarten picnic is scheduled for
Thursday, September 3 at 5:30 PM.  We will gather in Grant Park near
the play structure and picnic tables. Please join us to meet your
fellow parents and classmates, as well as kindergarten staff and school
administrators.

First Day of School

You are cordially invited to the Beverly Cleary School Ice Cream Social this Friday, September 11, from 6:00 - 7:30 PM on the Fernwood playground.  

This will be a fun evening where you and your children can get reacquainted with friends and families of BCS while eating ice cream and playing on the playground. Your Beverly Cleary School PTA Board will be doing all the work scooping ice cream and cleaning up.  Board members will be available to answer questions about membership, scrip sales and other PTA sponsored events.
