Curriculum Maps
- Rob, Koren and Tricia shared writing curriculum maps from 8th grade science, kindergarten and 2nd grade respectively.
- The next step (after individuals complete) for each class will be to combine maps into grade level team maps, then to combine into a school-wide continuum map – hopefully by June
Professional Development Update
- Curriculum Map Examples
- First Monday of each month, teachers are sharing 3 writing samples from each grade (below, at and above benchmark levels)
- December late opening – continue work on writing
Student Growth Targets
- These are targets for kids performing under benchmark – individual growth targets
- These are sent by ODE as a part of NCLB and the targets are essentially the state benchmarks

- Teri shared DIBELS test that K-3 administers
- Discussion around our “unique” position of 2 campuses and how we staff
- Discussion regarding retaining students in the upper grades
