Portland Public Schools will make internal facility changes to create additional classroom space at the Fernwood and Hollyrood buildings this summer to address capacity concerns through 2014-15. Both buildings will continue to serve Beverly Cleary students during that time.

Many of us have already heard that PPS is working with us on options for addressing our space limitations on the Fernwood and the Hollyrood campuses for the coming school year. Click here to download the Family Advisory that lays out the options and feedback received so far. Further feedback can be emailed to the PPS enrollment office. PPS expects to make a decision on how to address our space limitations by late April.
Spark Arts Center is hosting a Holiday Artisan Fair, and 10% of the sales during this event will be donated to the Beverly Cleary PTA and Access Program at Sabin.
Reading Challenge is an incentive-based reading program designed to celebrate and encourage reading.
Our PTA has started the Destination Imagination program, which is a nationally recognized non-profit program that offers a way for kids to learn creativity and innovation using just their imaginations.
